About Selah Zighelboim
Selah Zighelboim is an editor and content developer with experience managing staff, overseeing editorial projects, implementing SEO best practices and creating and running content planning calendars. She has a proven track record of growing audiences. Her success comes from her strong organizational skills, collaborative approach and strategic thinking.
A leader in the newsroom
At 25 years old, Zighelboim was named the editor-in-chief of the Baltimore Jewish Times, a 100-year-old newsmagazine. She was one of the youngest editor-in-chiefs of any Jewish publication in the country.
She led the Baltimore Jewish Times editorial team through the challenges of the pandemic. Under her leadership, the JT consistently put out high-quality content that met the needs of its target audience. Earlier this year, she was also named editor-in-chief of Baltimore Style magazine, which she now oversees in addition to the JT.
A successful content strategist
Zighelboim has seven years of communication experience. Previously, she worked as the digital editor of the Jewish Exponent, where she created a strategy for audience growth using SEO and Google Analytics. Her work led to the Exponent’s pageviews increasing 25% and its enewsletter open rates increasing 20%.
